    Where data is stored

This website runs with a hosting provider whose servers are located in Germany. The advertising service used (see below) may transfer personal data to the USA; the provider is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

    Your rights

You have the following rights regarding the data we hold about you:

    • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
    • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
    • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
    • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
    • Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
    • Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
    • Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR)

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR:
    Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde
    Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, Austria
    Phone: +43 1 52 152-0
    Email: dsb@dsb.gv.at
    Web: www.dsb.gv.at

    Retention period

We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purposes or for as long as statutory retention obligations (in particular under tax and commercial law) exist. Conversations created via the chat widget on this website are automatically deleted after 90 days. Data of the advertising service Meta (Conversions API) is stored in accordance with the provider's specifications.

    Data processing on our website

    Technically necessary data

To provide our website, technically necessary data is processed temporarily. This includes your IP address and technical information about your browser and operating system. This data is not stored permanently and serves solely the technical provision of the website.

    Plausible Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics (Plausible Insights OÜ, Estonia), a cookie-free web analytics service that collects only aggregated usage statistics on EU servers. Individual users cannot be identified.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in statistical reach analysis (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). More information in the Plausible privacy policy.

    ServasBot chat widget

Our own ServasBot chat widget is embedded on this website. When you open and use the widget, your inputs and technical metadata (IP address, session identifier, timestamp) are transmitted to our backend and processed by an AI language model to answer your query. Processing and storage take place exclusively on servers within the EU; conversation content is not used to train the language models.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR (answering your query). Retention: 90 days, then automatic deletion.

    Meta Conversions API

Server-side data processing (Conversions API): We use the Meta Conversions API (CAPI) from Meta Platforms Ireland Limited for the server-side transmission of conversion data to measure advertising effectiveness. When a contact or enquiry form is submitted, identification data (name, email address, phone number) is one-way hashed on our server using SHA-256 and transmitted to Meta only in this hashed form. In addition, technical metadata (IP address, browser identifier and, where applicable, a click identifier set by Meta) is sent in plain text, as Meta needs it for server-side matching. Data is transferred to the USA; Meta is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in data-minimising measurement of advertising success). You can object to this processing at any time, informally, by email to info@servasbot.at.

Processing on behalf of our customers

As part of our ServasBot service, we process the personal data of end users exclusively on behalf of our B2B customers. In doing so we act as a processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR and conclude a data processing agreement (DPA) with each customer.

    Contact for data protection enquiries

A data protection officer is not required by law. For questions about data protection or to exercise your rights, please contact:
    info@servasbot.at
